Cementos Portland Valderrivas is the largest Spanish-owned cement producer. It produces and distributes cement, aggregates, ready mix and mortar. The company dates back to 1903.

A multinational leader in the production of cement, concrete, aggregate and mortar, the Group uses cutting-edge technologies to achieve economic optimization and ensure environmental friendliness in all its production processes.
The Group operates in three geographic areas, western Europe (Spain and the UK), North America (USA) and Africa (Tunisia).
Cementos Portland Valderrivas Group has, in Spain, seven cement plants covering most of the country (the company is especially concentrated in the north region and in the three biggest cities; Madrid, Barcelona and Seville). The Group has approximately 11 million tons of manufacturing capacity installed in Spain.
The Group’s US operations cluster along the east coast, where Cementos Portland Valderrivas has three cement plants covering the entire stretch of territory between Maine and Georgia, with approximately 3 million tons of manufacturing capacity. In addition, the Cementos Portland Valderrivas Group leads the US in the use of waste as fuel through its subsidiary Grr! (Giant Resource Recovery).
The Group also occupies a leading position in Tunisia, where it runs the country’s largest cement factory, boasting a production capacity of 2 million tons. Cementos Portland Valderrivas owns a cement import terminal in the United Kingdom as well.
